Valenza
Once known as a city of Gold, Valenza has an active events calendar so have a look online to see Events such as Late-night shopping with stalls or music shows in the evenings. Shops will not disappoint, especially Il Girasole and l’altro girasole where you can also have the best coffee in town with homemade biscuits and desserts! With 4 Supermarkets there is no problem for stocking up and Alcohol is sold at the Supermarkets too!
Alessandria
Alessandria is a bustling but quaint local city with a variety of shops and spots to visit. Market days are Monday and Saturday in the main square Garibaldi whilst the Antique Market is on the first Sunday of the month. Ice Cream is a must from Cecena. The Napoleonic Museum in Spinetta is a great dive into history whilst a browse in the Borsalino Hatshop in Corso Roma will make you realise why it is such a world class brand.

Asti
Asti offers much more than her astounding World Heritage Historical sites and Cathedral. She is a centre of lovely traditional shops, inviting cafes and trattoria. Each year in September the central square is transformed into a horse racetrack where all the local sectors of the city compete against each other making it a superb day out with many market stalls around. In November the famous anchovy dish of the Bagna Caoda is celebrated drawing crowds from far and wide. On the last Sunday of every month there is an antique market well worth a visit.
Serravalle
No trip is complete without a trip to the Outlet, voted as the best in Europe. Great for brands and bargains- be prepared to spend at least a day!! Not only for clothes of all types and seasons it is a valid place to buy homeware goods and gifts.
Casale
Casale has a historical flavour offering insight into her Mediaeval past with ancient walls and ducts to admire. Her market on Sunday is a treasure trove of antiques at reasonable prices and shops are authentically inviting. A great day out for all the family.

Alba
Home to the famous Truffles which are at their peak in November, this is a typical village in the region with some fabulous eating spots. From here castles are visible in the distance making it a charming backdrop for an Aperitivo or a relaxing walk. Truffle experiences can be had with dogs hunting the treasure- just ask us for information.
Acqui
Situated near the Bormida river 40 minutes by car, this town offers a wonderful therapeutic thermal bath experience. The hot waters with curative powers date back to the Roman Empire and really put Acqui head and shoulders above many other cities with many entities offering regenerative relaxing packages to enjoy whether you have 30 minutes or all day to spend. Placed perfectly in Monferrato Acqui offers views, wines and great shopping.
Nizza
Nizza with her verdant rolling hills laced with vineyards is a definite stop for travellers keen to taste the important wines in Monferrato Barolo, Barberesco, Brachetto and and Barbera to name a few. The market on the 3rd Sunday in the month is full of unique finds at affordable prices for that special gift or souvenir to take home. Check the Events calendar as there is always something happening.
Torino
Torino has a great deal to offer- the Egyptian museum has been voted the best in the world and Torino hosts countless valid cultural exhibitions all year worth discovering- have a look on the what’s on calendar on their website for full details. Torino will satisfy all types of shoppers from the bargain hunters to the brand seekers and the beautiful Department Store Rinascente is home to many iconic Italian brands as well as emerging names. Torino FC has a great stadium too so why not finish off a great day with a Serie A football match.
Milan
The business Capital of the North is easily accessible by train, taking you to the heart of the city. Whether you are after culinary delights, shops, history or shows, Milan has it all.
Genoa
Famous for her Port, shops and Pesto with a world acclaimed aquarium, Genova is a bustling city with many towns on the periphery worth visting such as Savona or Celle.

Quello di Antiquariato e’ attivo la prima Domenica del mese. Inoltre puoi visitare il Museo di Napaleone a Spinetta Marengo e la Cittadella una fortezza costruita nel 1732 da Vittorio Emanuele II reputata

Da qui parte la via del vino dove si puo’ degustare ottimi vini come il Barolo, il Barbaresco, il Barbera e il Brachetto.

Immersa nelle dolci colline del Monferrato i Vigneti di questa zona sono attentamente curati e dove parte la via del vino, si incontreranno i villaggi di Barolo, Barbaresco e potrete fermarvi nelle loro cantine dove troverete semplicita’ e ospitalita’ che non avete mai provato.
